Steven was born in England on March 31, 1961. In 1964, the family moved to Australia and then to Canada in 1974, when the family settled in Sundre, AB. From Sundre, the family moved to Calgary, then Leamington, ON., then back to Alberta, settling in Strathmore for the past 30 years.
Steven was a strong, handsome, young man and was known to be a good athlete, excelling in track, cross country, and soccer. As he got older, he continued his love of soccer off the field, cheering for his favorite team, Manchester United. Sadly, in his late teens, he was diagnosed with schizophrenia which changed his path in life. He was known for his great sense of humor; he and his mom enjoyed many a belly laugh together. Everyone that met him said he was so gentle and kind, like a big teddy bear. He will leave a big hole in the hearts of all those that knew him.
